Level Mount FAQ’s
What are your Customer Service hours? Our US based customer service department is open 7 days a week, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
What if there are no threaded bolt holes on the back of my TV? Almost all TV manufacturers design the back of their TVs with four (4) threaded holes so that bolts may be used to attach the TV to the wall mount. If your TV does not have these threaded holes, we recommend you call your TV manufacture to find out the best method for hanging your TV.
Will this mount work with my TV? Level Mounts will work with over 99% of all TVs. Please provide us with the make and model of your TV or if possible the mounting pattern on the back of your TV. We will gladly do the research and verify that it will fit.
Are the screws that were provided with my Level Mount sufficient for attaching the wall plate to a stud or concrete wall? Depending on what mount you purchased from Level Mount, we have provided all of the necessary screws for a strong and long lasting installation.
Why can’t the tilt arms hook over the wall plat lip on my DC65FT when I have the horizontal bar in place? You are able to choose to use this mount either as a fixed or a tilt mount. If you select to use the horizontal bar, it will operate as a tilt mount. If you elect not to use the horizontal bar, the mount will be fixed and rest tightly against the wall.
Why don’t the bolts sizes that came in my package match the size of the bolt holes on the back of my TV? Some TV manufacturers do not follow the commonly accepted VESA standards for the mounting holes on the back of your TV. Upon request, Level Mount will send you the correct bolts for your TV for Free.
What if the adaptor plates/arms that came inside the package do not fit my TV? Some TV manufacturers do not follow the commonly accepted VESA standards for the mounting holes on the back of your TV. Upon request, Level Mount will send you the correct adapter plates for your TV for Free.
What kind of screws do I need to attach my Level Mount into metal studs? The screws that came provided inside the package should allow you to attach the wall plate to most metal studs. If you have any questions or specific concerns, we recommend asking your local hardware store as they are very familiar with your building materials and building codes in your area.
Will Level Mounts work will all VESA mounting patterns? Our mounts have been designed to fit all VESA compliant patterns and most if not all Non-VESA patterns. If for some reason you feel your mount does not fit onto your TV properly, give us a call. We will gladly send you free parts to assure that the Level Mount you have purchased will be able to attach to your TV safely and securely.
May I purchase extra wall plates for my mount? You may purchase these additional wall plates at our online store on our website. If you do not see the one you are looking for just give us a call.
What if my TV exceeds the amount of inches the mount is designed for but is still under the weight guideline? May I use this mount anyway? We do not suggest exceeding the inches guidelines. If you have questions related to this, please call our customer service number.
What if my Tilt arms do not fit on the wall plate? The wall plate is a couple inches too short? Some TV manufacturers do not follow the commonly accepted VESA standards for the mounting holes on the back of your TV. If for some reason you feel your Tilt arms do not do not fit onto the wall plate, give us a call. We will gladly send you free parts to assure that the Level Mount you purchased will be able to attach correctly to your TV.
What if my mount did not come with all of the screws, bolts, hardware, etc that I need to mount my TV? We try very hard to make sure that you receive all the hardware you need to attach your TV to your Level Mount. If we have not included everything that you need, just give us a call. Most likely we will send you free parts so that you are able to mount your TV up onto your wall where the viewing is fantastic.
What if we lost our hardware before we could get our TV mounted onto our wall? Give us a call. We will take care if this for free.
How far do your cantilever mounts extend out from the wall? All of our cantilever designs extend out at differing distances. Please look at the Product section on our web site and see if you can find the answer. If you wish, you may call our customer service department and they will assist you.
Where do I find the specs for the mounts? On the Level Mount web site, we list all of our specs including the size and weights of TV that each mount will support.
What if I am not sure that I am capable of mounting my TV to a wall? Is it hard to do? We have found that almost everyone is able to perform this project. Our unique design makes it very simple. It may take some individual longer than others, but we have found that almost everyone can do it.
How long is the warranty for your mounts? Our non-motorized mounts have a Limited Life Time Warranty. Our motorized mounts come with a 1 year warranty.
I am a nervous about hanging my expensive flat panel TV on the wall. What if it falls? Level Mount stands behind their product. All of our mounts come with a Free Product Guarantee……not just for the mount but for your TV, too. If our mount is attached correctly and something goes wrong, we will replace your mount AND your TV for free!
