COMPANY PROFILE
Elexa Consumer Products Incorporated was established in 1993 primarily as a supplier of electronic accessories to the Global marketplace. In 2003, the company expanded into the emerging flat panel TV mount category and is now firmly established as a leader under the Level Mount brand. In 2007 Elexa proudly announced the addition of the La-Z-Boy Universal Remote Control line of products.
Elexa maintains ownership of several vertically integrated factories controlling all aspects of manufacturing, design and engineering. Elexa Far East Ltd. is a subsidiary based in Hong Kong overseeing all Asian operations as well as the factories in mainland China.
Elexa is also well known for outstanding logistics support and has a proven supply chain history while maintaining a centrally located warehouse and distribution facility in Chicago, Illinois. With a U.S. headquarters based in Chicago, Elexa also has offices in Hong Kong, Canada and Europe.
A Letter from the CEO
Dear Valued Customer,
It is with great pleasure that I write to you today to tell you about Elexa Consumer Products “Green Initiative”. As many of you are aware we all have an obligation on how we impact our environment. Elexa is keenly aware that it is our responsibility to protect the environment for future generations. Elexa Consumer Products Inc. manufactures and markets TV mounts under the brand name Level Mount®, La-Z-Boy® Home Theater Series Universal Remote Controls, and Iblink® Stereo Head Sets. In all divisions of the company we have taken the initiative to package our products using Recyclable materials. For instance with our Level Mount® product line we use 100% recycled cardboard for our package and our package is 100% recyclable. Our warehouse does not allow plastic drinking bottles. We provide aluminum containers to our employees that they may refill throughout the day thus cutting down on plastic bottles that end up in land fills. We also use Electric Lift trucks thus cutting down on harmful emission not only in our plant but in the environment. All plastic and cardboard that ends up in the trash is recycled on a weekly basis.
We have further implemented an integrated system which will eliminate most paper in our head office. The way the system works is we receive and transmit orders from our customers, to our warehouse and back to our customer without the use of a single sheet of paper. This is all done electronically. We are also billing customers electronically and wiring funds electronically thus cutting down on paper usage dramatically.
As you can see we are very committed to saving our environment and doing what we can to protect it. Elexa strongly believes that if every company and every individual took the initiative to reduce even a small portion of waste, over time we could have a significant impact toward saving our environment. These initiatives aren’t without cost, however it is our commitment to future generations that we do our part to protect the environment.
